July 4th Fireworks Event Lineup

Rome Fireworks Display Behind the Scenes VIDEO

The Rome 4th of July fireworks celebration sponsored by Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority will be held July 4 at Ridge Ferry Park. The parking lot at Burrell Creek will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 for fireworks display set-up. The public can access Ridge Ferry Park from the Farmer's Market and Shoals parking lots.

Traditional patriotic music provided by the Eighth Regiment Band of the Georgia Volunteer Infantry and the Rome Symphony Orchestra will be featured during the event. Gates will open at 6 p.m. with the first concert beginning at 7 p.m.. Fireworks will begin after the Symphony concert, around 9:30 p.m..

Vendors will also be on-site to sell refreshments and treats. There will be a children's play area with water slides and inflatables. The public is encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for lawn seating. Parking and event admission is free. The event will be held rain or shine.

Please, no political campaigning/ distributing flyers and no pets.

6:00 p.m. Gates Open, Food & Drink Vendors Open

               Children's Activities: Water Slides, Inflatables

7:00 p.m. Eighth Regiment Band of the Georgia Volunteer Infantry performing Civil War era Patriotic music.

8:00 p.m. Presentation of Flags and Colors

8:30 p.m. Rome Symphony Orchestra concert

9:30 p.m. Fireworks
